KTM Youth Directors 2023

There are 10 Youth Directors position available.  This is a great opportunity to be leader of a non-profit organization. Candidates those volunteered in KTM Events since 2020 will be given highest priority in the nominated sequence. Top 10 will be selected and others will be given a role as deputy youth director (Backup role for Youth Director) to support. 

Eligibility

  1. High School students could be a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
  2. Parents should be Kurinji Tamil Manram Current Volunteers or willing to volunteer in Kurinji Tamil Manram along with their kid for that year.
  3. At least one of the parents should be a Tamil Speaking Person.  

Responsibility

  1. High Schoolers as KTM Youth Directors could bring a project to Kurinji Tamil Manram for execution. They should present it to the board with the expected outcome of that project.
  2. Upon Board approval, Kurinji Tamil Manram volunteers will help to generate funds / sponsors for that project and support to execute the project with Adult volunteers.
  3. Youth Director Role holders will participate and lead with responsibilities during Pongal, Tamil New Year and Deepavali.
  4. High Schoolers as KTM Youth Directors will collaborate with other Youth Directors / High School Volunteers during their project execution.
  5. KTM Youth Directors could plan their projects during Spring Break, Summer Break, Fall Break or Winter Break.
  6. High Schoolers as KTM Youth Directors could help during Blood Drives and Food Drives
